At Autotomie, we want our customers to understand how their data is being used. Here are some systems and settings we have implemented to help protect your privacy.

Turn tracking off at any time with the click of a button.

One of the major privacy concerns that people have nowadays is being tracked. While this feature provides neccessary functionality, customers want to know they're in control. Instead of having a convoluted and confusing system, we offer users the ability to turn off the tracking at any time with the simple click of a button. This gives you the autonomy to choose when that service is on and when it is off. Again, there is no hidden tracking. Off means off.

Account level settings to disable tracking of specific applications.

As mentioned before, these tracking features can add a lot of value when used properly. You don't have to decide between all and nothing with this feature. We offer settings that can disable tracking of specific applications. This gives the customers the freedom to choose which applications should be tracked and ones ones shouldn't. These options can be toggled easily from account level settings.

Account level settings to mask application data so that usage can be tracked but personal details are hidden.

We go as step further by allowing our customers to mask certain application data that allows tracking but keeps personal details hidden. Sometimes users want the functionality that these tracking features provide, but they aren't comfortable with their personal details being compromised. With our in-depth privacy settings, you don't have to worry about making that trade-off.

Optionally allow users to delete specific tasks after they have been tracked.

What happens when a user forgets to turn off tracking while switching from company tasks to personal tasks? Administrators can offer users the ability to delete tasks after they have been tracked. Once deleted, all record of the task is wiped from the database as though it never happened.

Administrators can control who has access to team level reports.

We give administrators the ability to choose who has access to team level reports. This helps to ensure there are no unwanted eyes on sensitive documents or data. We care about your personal data and don't want it to fall into the hands of anybody that doesn't have authority to view it.

All data is deleted upon account cancellation.

We don't hold onto any data when an account is cancelled. We only hold and utilize data in order to provide the time tracking services requested. If you decide to terminate your account, we wipe the slate clean and delete all data that has been recorded.

We do not sell or provide data to any third parties.

One of the biggest qualms that users have with how softwares and tech companies use their data is selling private information to third parties. We can't think of a more wretched way to use the personal data of customers. That is why we have taken a strict oath not to sell or provide user data to third parties. We only take the information that we need to better serve you and it will never leave our company.

Database and application is hosted on AWS for security and continuity.

Our application and entire database is hosted on Amazon Web Services. This means that your private data and information is safely housed in one of the world's leading cloud computing platforms. AWS is a well-recognized and safe place for your information to be stored. We don't host with our own cloud or with a low-quality, unreliable service. We use AWS to ensure the highest quality for our clients.

Multi-tenant infrastructure ensures customers cannot access each other’s data.

A multi-tenant infrastructure simply refers to a software that houses the data of multiple users, a.k.a. tenants, in one framework. The data from one user is completely invisible and inaccessible by other users. You don't have to worry about another customer having access to your personal data. We keep that safe.
